Are all products listed in stock?
No.
Non-stock products are clearly noted as such along with lead times. Factory orders are drop shipped directly to you to avoid delays. Some products are in stock but we only keep a very small quantity at any give time. These too are clearly noted. If you only need 1 or 2 of these types of items you should be fine ordering online. However, if you need a larger quantity than 1 or 2, or if delivery is ultra critical it is best to call before ordering. We'll check current inventory as it is constantly changing.
If no special notes are associated with a product that means we keep a large inventory for that item.
Where do products ship from?
We have locations across the country, and each has it's own inventory. When you order online we start hand processing your order by checking the warehouse nearest to you for product availability. Common items are stocked in most locations. Odd items are typically only stocked in a single warehouse. Simply give us a call if you need to know shipping location for your order.
Can you help determine which products I need?
Yes. That is what we do best. We're here to help with any question you may have.
How long have you been around?
Since 1995. We were the first company to sell door hardware online. A lot has changed since then and we've done our best to adapt along the way. Our web site has been a great compliment to our regular hardware business and we now ship all across the country. With so much competition appearing online people worry about ordering from some guy sitting in his underwear in his basement. We do have underwear but no basement.
