Quick Tip
The crossbar comes long enough for a 48" wide door and may be
cut down in the field for narrower doors.
When ordering devices you simply specify
the series and the finish.
- 55EO x AN313 (dark bronze)
- 88EO x AN313
Fire rated versions are also available by including "F" in the
model number. (55EO-F)
Both the 55 and 88 series devices are more expensive than
most of the other Von Duprin devices. The 55 cost more
than the 88 since all the working parts are confined to a
very narrow space.
Variations
You may order both series with vertical rods for double doors.
The 88 series is available with both surface vertical rods (8827)
and concealed vertical rods (8847). But the 55 series is only
available with concealed rods (5547).

A mortise lock version is also available using the "75"
designation. 5575 for the 55 series (shown above) or 8875 for
the 88 series. The mortise lock mounts through the edge of the
door using a standard mortise lock prep. Using a mortise lock
device adds another level of security to the opening as they are
nearly impossible to defeat.
