Passage Feature

Both models come with one key on the inside used for changing the combination.

Model 8148 comes with a second key for setting passage mode. When in passage mode, anyone can enter from the outside (no code required).

A thumb turn is also furnished which may be used in place of the passage key.

About Outside Keys

Outside keys fit an interchangeable core (IC).

You must select the type of IC core you will use.

8100 series models

Two basic choices for IC cores:
The ''B'' option means a small format IC core (SFIC) will be used outside. It is not furnished with the lock. Any brand SFIC can be used.

Large cores (LFIC) may also be used.
C = Corbin Russwin
M = Medeco or Yale
R = Sargent
S = Schlage
