About Key Override |
| Models with a Key Override are tricky to order. 1] First, the key (and core) are not furnished with the lock. 2] Secondly, you must choose between 2 core types. (L) Large Format cores are look similar, but each is made slightly different. This makes each brand of LFIC unique. You must specify the brand using a letter: C = Corbin Russwin M = Medeco or Yale R = Sargent S = Schlage (S) Small Format cores are exactly the opposite. They are all the same size and shape, allowing you to swap one brand with another. If you start using a Schlage SFIC and decided to switch to Yale SFIC, just pop out the old core and insert the new. To specify SFIC prep, use the letter ''B'' as part of the model number. |

About Passage Feature |
| Models with the Passage Feature allow you to disable the pushbutton combination. When the Passage Feature is engaged anyone may enter. When Passage is turned off a combination code is required for entry. |

| All locks come with a key on the inside used for changing the combination. Those with the Passage Feature have a 2nd key used only to engage the Passage Mode. A thumb turn is also furnished with these locks that may be installed instead of the Passage key. |
