INTERMEDIATE PIVOTS

An intermediate pivot is installed much like a center hinge to help prevent door warping. And like a hinge the pivot point is offset from the face of the door. This is why intermediates are available only for offset pivots. No intermediate has been developed that can pivot in the center of the door.

Intermediate pivots are recommended for most all applications of offset hung doors. Note that intermediates bear no door weight and designed strictly for door alignment.
