Extra heavy duty models will sometimes have a 3/4'' throw. These too can work with this strike, but only if the gap between door and frame is 1/8'', which is standard. If your lock has a 3/4'' throw latch, and if the gap is less than 1/8'', then do not use this strike. Find another model with a keeper depth of 3/4''. Also note this kit is only available in 12 volt. The 2402 and 2404 models are available in other voltages.
