Wall Switches - MS Sedco

Wall switches for door operators are available in hardwired or radio controlled versions.

Hard-wired models mount to a double gang electrical box.

Radio controlled versions require 2 components: a sender and a receiver.  In short, these work on the same principle as a garage door opener.

Wall Switches

Four basic styles are available.

Narrow versions are produced for mounting to a door frame.

The models from MS Sedco are available at less than 1/2 the price than those from manufacturers of door operators.  Many times those manufacturers have MS Sedco produce their switches for them on an OEM basis.

Door operators are expensive enough as it is.  No use to compound the problem by paying too much for wall switches.  These models mount and wire the exact same as the big brand names and will not jeopardize the warranty of the operator.  These are the reasons that professional installers opt for the MS Sedco products.

Quick Tip

Radio controlled versions are wireless.  These are ideal for retrofit applications where running wires is not practicle.
