A standard hollow metal door frame does not provide the proper conditions for mounting a mag lock. For this reason a Filler Plate (FP) is required for most installations.

Locknetics offers a full line of Filler Plates for easy installation. Before ordering a filler plate be sure to measure your frame stop, reveal, etc.

When working with Mag Locks it's important to know the different frame parts. Most locks mount on Outswing doors and you'll use the ''standard'' installation. If you have an Inswing door the setup will be completely different.

Inswing doors require a special ''Z'' shaped bracket which is available for most models. Check the ordering options if you have an inswing door.

Filler plates come in either aluminum or dark bronze finish to match your door frame.

Different lengths are available to match sizes of Locknetics mag locks. There are also different height and width dimensions to accomodate varying frame conditions. It's important to measure your frame dimensions before ordering.

We stock all the sizes of filler plates so they can ship with your mag lock order.

The filler plates are made from aluminum so you may drill through them easily. The bolts furnished with the mag lock are designed to be long enough to reach through a filler plate.
