Locknetics GF3000 Mag Lock

The GF3000 is very well designed, but one tricky unit to order.

It's important to read the data sheet and installation instructions before ordering because you need to specify a mounting style upon ordering. Different hardware is furnished for different applications.

The good news is the GF3000 can be used in a wide variety of applications, you just need to pinpoint your application before you order.

The installation instructions are long and complicated but only because the GF3000 is so versitile. Take some time to look over the instructions because they illustrate the many ways the lock can be used. Locknetics has done a good job laying out the options for you.

MBS - Magnetic Bond Sensor: Sends a signal the lock and armature are properly engaged.

DSM - Door Status Monitor: Sends a signal when the door is open.

RTD - Relocking Time Delay: A separate unit spliced into the wiring that controls unlock time. It is furnished standard with the Locknetics GF3000.

The DSM and MBS options are additional switches that send a signal back to a remote monitoring station. These stations are found in high security applications and are typically a separate room used to monitor door status.

The remote station contains a series of panels and lights. Each door will have several lights that change color as the door opens. The DSM and MBS switches are wired to these lights.
