The holding force for model 320 is dependent upon the voltage you select to use.
When using 12VDC you have 500 lbs. holding capacity. At 24VDC it goes up to 650 lbs.
A concealed mounted mag lock is called a Shear Lock.
Locknetics makes this model plus model 280. The 320M is smaller and with less holding force, but the two models basically function the same.
Applications common for this specialty lock include sliding doors and high security cabinets.
At times, the 320 is installed on standard doors but you'll need to ensure the parts line up for good contact.
The mag lock can't do it's job unless it has the proper ''magnetic bonding''.
The MBS and DSM options are only used when remote monitoring is being used.
Remote monitoring involves a separate room with a control panel indicating the status of all doors in a building.
The MBS and DSM options are really just switches than send a signal back to the control panel when activated.
You don't need these if you don't use remote monitoring.
